Jermaine Spradley

Head of Video & Social

Jermaine Spradley is the Head of Video & Social at The Arena Group, joining in July 2025. He oversees video strategy, social platform growth, and audience development initiatives focused on driving referral traffic and platform monetization across brands including Parade Magazine, TheStreet, and Athlon Sports. Jermaine also leads the video & social P&Ls across Arena’s brands. 

Before joining The Arena Group, Jermaine served as SVP & Publisher of SB Nation. In his multiple leadership roles there, including VP of Network Development and GM, he oversaw a portfolio of over 300 communities and 150 podcasts, led a team of 100+ staffers and 2,000+ freelancers, and shaped the brand’s editorial and business roadmap.

Jermain’s career also includes time as Executive Editor at Bleacher Report, having been recognized with a Clio Award for building and scaling the Social Movements team, and developing branded franchises such as Gridiron Heights. His contributions helped transform Bleacher Report into a cross-platform storytelling leader—leading to its recognition on Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list.

He began his media career at The Huffington Post, leading coverage for the Black Voices and Latino Voices verticals, and managing award-winning reporting on landmark moments. Across his career, Jermaine has focused on building authentic communities, empowering creators, and driving innovation at the intersection of storytelling and strategy.
